How to Book an Interpreter

Bookings can be made by completing our on-line booking form.

Please note the following important details when making your booking:

  • To ensure a suitably skilled interpreter will be available, it is recommended that requests for interpreting services be made as soon as possible due to interpreter availability.
  • For emergency bookings, SLSA will endeavour to provide the most skilled interpreter available.
  • Due to occupational Health and Safety issues and to preserve the accuracy of interpretation, two interpreters may be needed for any assignment of more than one hour's duration (depending on content and type of delivery).
  • In the event the consumer/s of the interpreting service is/are late, the interpreter will be required to wait at least 30 minutes before leaving. If the consumer does not show, or for some other reason the session does not go ahead, full fees will be charged.

View our Appointment Rates for fees and further terms and conditions relating to booking an interpreter.
